California Ag Labor Association (CALA) Brochure
The California Ag Labor Association (CALA) is a non-profit compliance agency dedicated to helping the Ag industry reduce liability and exposure, while reducing costs of compliance to Labor Code § 2810.3 (Section 2810.3). The law, which became effective in 2015, requires employers to share in the responsibility of lawful compensation to laborers hired through labor contractors. The brochure lays out the services, information, and tools provided by CALA, and the advantages of partnering with CALA to mitigate the risks of being penalized for non-compliance.
